Very smooth Malbec — 6 years ago

Crisp and spritzy, not too sweet. Super solid — 9 years ago
Incredible. Jaboulet family apparently inconsistent in final years of ownership, but this one had everything. So dense still, with lots of kalamata olive, olive brine, cherry, blackberry, black pepper, leather, cured meat, earth. Savory, sweet, powerful, elegant, hit every end of the taste spectrum. Super long. In magnum — 9 years ago
This was fantastic. Kermit ftw. — 10 years ago

Smoke, olive. Truffle, blackberry. Completely secondary. Gorgeous. — 11 years ago
Vintage 2015 / No sulphites. No filtering. 3 months on amphora, 4 months on barrique. Mix of authentic grapes #nielluciu #sciaccarello #minustello #carcaghjolu #morescone that makes this #corsicanwine very enjoyable. Rich and refined. Pretty round. Some roses. Frivolous. I like it very much. — 8 years ago
A very nice wine, especially after decanting for 3-4 hours. — 8 years ago
Nice perfumy candies red fruit and spice. Fine tannin and light presentation. — 9 years ago
Really tannic (the hard stemmy type), dark, olive, lavender, rather dense. Either needs more time in bottle or less stems in the cuve — 10 years ago
Just an incredible 14 year old #syrah from Wind Gap that’s just screaming Crozes-Hermitage or Cornas in the glass. Cured meat, bacon fat, black olive followed by a deep well of brooding black fruit aromas. Palate is fresh with salivating acidity, aged fruit, coffee, dark chocolate and ethereal tannins on a long finish. Beautiful wine, especially for $53 for 6 bottles at WineBid (before shipping.)

Raspberry jam, huckleberry compote, crushed black cherry, peach pit, violet liquor, bbq meat, fur, licorice whip, olive tapenade, sanguine, beef jerky, iodine, coffee grounds, smoke, pink peppercorns, a touch of leather. The salinity this has is unreal. It has real class and carries its weight well. Balance of the acid is keen, a cool-climate personality. Tannins are beautiful, resolving but bringing texture and posture. This could go another decade easily, but the balance is there now. Brownie points for the length and complexity. — 6 years ago
Close your eyes and it’s Corsican rosè — 8 years ago
What an amazing wine! Proof of the true values in Rhone for how complex this wine gets. Initial nose is tight with smells of farmyard and black olives. Letting it open up reveals a true bouquet of Spices, Lavender, Sage, Clove, Oregano, Leather/Hide, Dried Strawberry, Licorice, and more I wrote down and can't remember. It's chewy, but the Tannins are balanced, it's acidity said "Sure you COULD put me on the shelf, but I am actually drinkable today!" Let's just say that I will be getting more. — 8 years ago
Potted soil, good acidity. — 9 years ago
