On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Probably still a little young, but otherwise a really great bottle. Dark transparent ruby, with a woody-er edge to it. Some cherry pie, herbs, baking spices and tar aromas. Strong structure, making it feel young. Pretty large body for an Oregon Pinot! Going to age well for awhile. — 4 months ago
