Modern, fresh, fruity, different beast than Cvne or LRA but I’m into it. — 7 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2019 pours a garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart red fruits: strawberry, raspberry, Morello cherry, roses, dried green herbs, and gravely earth. On the palate the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. From one of the lesser known Conterno’s…but still quite lovely. Drink now through 2039 — 4 months ago

Single grand cru vineyard. Tasted twice in two days. Grew on me! — 2 months ago
I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 6 months ago

ask the wine guy for something unusual, something off the beaten path and he recommends this delicious dry 100% Palomino w/some bottle age: definitely a food wine, light greenish straw color w/fairly austere nose full of minerals, lanolin, herbaceous musk, white flowers (jasmine), ginger & some spices. on palate it is rigid & angular, zesty acidity, some citrus but mostly minerals & herbs, quinine, screams for briny foods - we had this w/deli section fare & salad. — 11 days ago
