Very pleasing. Cherries and raspberries, very smooth. Went great with couscous, a lot of veggies and merguez — 12 days ago
I bought and drank a fair amount of Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre back in the late 1990s, and always enjoyed them. First time in the past 20 years, this seems a little softer and polished, a little lower ABV (13.5 vs. 14+ in earlier vintages), this is vinified using conventional fermentation as well as some ripasso fermentation (think Amarone drying grapes on straw mats), and has some very nice complexity and length, very nice!! — 24 days ago
We held on to this for 10 years.n Well worth it. Deliciously balanced, perfect timing to drink. Paired with steak. Dark dry fruits, amazing. — 22 days ago
Aged to perfection. Unreal. Tobacco. Leather. Oak. Chocolate. Happy Friday! — 23 days ago

Superb, opened 5 750s. Saw big bottle variation, 3 spectacular, 1 off and one really off bottle. Some cork seepage on the lesser btls. Shame…this was worth cellaring, the best on par with the finest super Ts anywhere and aging with light sour cherry, sweet tobacco and old leather notes that were so nice. — 7 days ago
