Phenomenal! Dark plum base but layers of exhiberant and concentrated small dark berries and red fruit jump from the glass, but all enveloped in deep, complex earthy tones. Palate is insane, minerality and acidity are tingling, almost sparking on the sides of the mouth, mingling with the very fine lively tannins. So much pleasure without sacrificing any seriousness — 5 months ago
2017 vintage. Last tasted 6.1.22 with same score. Perfume of fennel, Chambord, lavender, ripe dark plum and dusty bookshelf. Moonless, winter night color. Medium-heavy body. Gamey and mineralesque but otherwise, clean on the finish. A very light Reposado tequila pop up flavoring approx 45 seconds after savoring the finish. No, haven’t had any tequila in months. 10.30.23. — 6 months ago
Bessards-Greffieux. Tastes 3 years old 😂😂 enveloping richness tempered by sturdy tannin and that classic Hermitage granitic bite. Layered, some part coarse and angular marrying with some parts supple and round. All working very well IMO. The Faury finesse and subtlety is there, this is a thinking wine, perfect for not sharing on Father’s day. — 9 months ago

Lovely, light but packs a punch. — 6 years ago
Great for the price. Complex, medium finish. Lots of red fruit — 8 years ago
I'm with the skeptics of this vintage lots of fruit, fine, ripeness, fine but it's not that great. — 9 years ago
3 years since previous bottle, very mild integrated tannins, rich deep fruit mellowing into forest floor. Aromatic, some complexity over the evening. Nice. — 4 months ago
Tightly wound nose, lots of beeswax, white florals and some stone fruit, rounded by oak. Palate in unfortunately alcohol-first (I guessed 14.5 but it’s 15!) but layers of texture. Good bit hot, more pedigree than magic — 5 months ago
Cool Syrah. Refreshing — 7 months ago
Archetypal northern Rhône Syrah. Dark fruit, black pepper, herbs, and a bit briney. Nice and savory. — 7 months ago
A bit tart and slightly bitter. Good dark fruit perhaps in a few years it will smooth out. — 9 months ago

Some funkyness, more expressive as it opened up. Enjoyed by all. — 5 years ago
This wine is fresh with dark fruit and also some pepper. It is medium body not that much tannins but are very drinkable right from the start! It deserves this high rating due to its low price.
For fellow swedes I recommend trying (at least) one bottle (nr 2861 Systembolaget). — 8 years ago
1998 - pretty nice. — 8 years ago
So an easy one to like. Inky dark in color; heavy earth/wet bark notes, rust or metal, overripe berries on nose. Palate just short of nose, maybe just a bit too simple. — 5 months ago
Very much on the dark, earthy, minerally side. So dark and full of smoky ember crushed stone that I’d almost be tempted to place it half-way around the world in Walla Walla. Palate is rich and dark, a highlights more savory minerally notes than fruit. Distinctive and good but not a typical fruity Crozes. — 6 months ago
Pretty stellar. One of the best Rhone whites I have had in a very long time. — 6 months ago
2017 enjoyed 10/7/2023. nose: caramelized pineapple, wavering between oxidative and candied. wiffs of fresh floral pass quickly, stony/mineral undertone. palate: medium body, oily viscosity, high acid and mineral leave my tongue tingling. gorgeous. glad that I opened. — 7 months ago
Lovely wine in essense. Decanted twice but didn’t quite come alive. Maybe over the hill just a bit. — 10 months ago
Riktigt fint vin. Lamm eller nöt och någon syrlig sås såsom bearnaise är en perfekt kombo. En fransk favorit. Värd pengarna. — 5 years ago
Millésime 2015!! Magnifique! Matière mur, corps gourmand et élancé. Éclat aromatique passant par les fruits noirs, les épices douces, la liqueur de fruit. J'ai adoré. — 7 years ago
Syrah mûre superbe ! — 8 years ago
