Tequila number 2 was aged in William Larue Weller bourbon barrels. If I were blindfolded, it would have taken me a minute to realize this was tequila. The oak and the bourbon had a huge effect. But, it was not overpowering. Delicious in a unique way. Delectable says it's $29. If you find it for $29, buy 100 bottles. — 2 days ago

Another Saint Emilion I've never had before, with a hokey gold medal sticker on the side of the bottle. This has so much hair on it upon initial pouring. Having a few sips and coming back to it later. Massive blackberry and plum flavors, very bitter wet leaves, pumice stone, high acid, high tannin, high alcohol pronunciation. It's way too amplified- maybe it will chill the eff out in an hour.

Is there a more classic pairing than CdP and Doritos?
I give this wine higher marks than its other reviewers. This 2019 is in a sweet spot. Very light and lush, like a pinot noir. Raspberries, plum, and earth. Not a lot of spice. Low acidity, low tannins, but not like it's over the hill. It's not what I expected, but it's really really good.
