Equal half of Primitivo and Negroamaro, the mildly aromatic nose delivers fresh red and dark berries, black tea, clove, light balsamic, and hint of iron. Vibrant palate with medium body, streaking acidity, and rounder than expected tannins.
Quite nice, and Not the ripe, jammy and rustic bottle I was expecting.
