La Porte Dorée Cour-Cheverny Romorantin 2020

2020. I believe this is my first Romorantin based wine, so I read through the tasting notes here and was excited to try it. Rich orchard fruit, good acid, and definitely get the oxidized sherry-like notes some mentioned. Paired with snacks while watching the Masters. Not quite their Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but my goat cheese stuffed roasted red peppers and black olives went great with the wine! — a month ago

Plénitude Cour-Cheverny Romorantin 2008

Petrol/diesel aromas up front, crisp and dry, really still seems very youthful, great acidity frames the medium-long finish, lovely!! — 2 years ago

I found this 2018 bottling uneven. However, this bottle was excellent. — 4 months ago

Nice wine to finish the evening with a crème brûlée. Not too sweet. Apricot, honey with some crispness. — 2 years ago

Had this at a blind tasting. Thought it was a chenin at first. Medium acid. Notes of green apple, lemon peel. — 3 months ago

Réserve des Templiers Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2022

I loved this inexpensive and underrated Rosé. Bright strawberry flavors in this light Rosé, perfect for Summer (even if it is Autumn). — 7 months ago

Last bottle. Love this! Blue fruits, good texture but smooth. Can’t get enough of it. TBL — a year ago
