Light salmon color. Nose of strawberries and lemons. Initial taste of mild strawberry with a dry tart citrus finish. — 5 months ago
Always love this wine. So complete and balanced, especially in cooler vintages. Welcoming nose of dark fruits, some funky stable and of course garique. Fresh palate with laurel, leather and some bitters. This can age gracefully. — 8 months ago
first romorantin! very mineral, lots of salt, highly acidic at the front. smells spiced and like quince and a little pear. would be good w something buttery — a month ago
Loved the romorantin — 7 months ago
Amazing white wine made from Romorantin grapes which visually looks like it’s 3-5 years old, at most, this grape variety is related to Chardonnay, but WAY drier, the entire appellation is 120 acres/48 hectares in the Loire valley, really a super unique wine that apparently will age almost forever, mineral, loads of acidity, needs food (which I don’t have in front of me — waaah!!), longish finish!! As an aside, there is a great Loire chateau to visit in this area, called Chateau de Cheverny, which is still lived in/occupied, but is well worth a visit!! Really amazing wine!! — 4 months ago

This is the Couterier St Veran Cour de Bois…..an eminently quaffable white, a real thirst quencher - does that make it good? Pretty simple, sparkly, bright nose, not much structure or body, but tasty. None of that acidic finish I dislike — 15 hours ago
