I found this wine balanced. I had it with surf and turf, and it was a good pairing — 5 months ago
2022 vintage. Dark red, much deeper colour than usual for this estate. Marie-Laure Lurton seems to have gone for a bit more extraction in this exceptional vintage. More powerful than usual, with a fresh black fruit personality, embedded in a tight, ripe tannic structure. Serious length too. Decanting recommended,as it showed better the next day. Quite elegant, lifted and fresh. Classic secondary aromas and flavors with loads of acidity. — 7 years ago
Christmas gift, drank with ham and scalloped potatoes. — 9 years ago
Very enjoyable left bank bottling for $35 on the shelf, if not pretty closed. Decanted for 2+ hours and was just starting to reveal itself, still somewhat shy after 4+. Blackberry, stewed mulberry, earth, coffee grounds, garden, and spice. Not overly ripe or concentrated with a subtle bitter balance. Curious to see what day 2 is like. Good value candidate for cellaring though I wouldn’t hate a bit more acidity. — 5 months ago
2014 Vintage. This tastes like a dream. Wow. — 5 months ago
Lovely rich nose of ripe red fruits. Surprisingly tart on the palate; very complex and rich. Quite a nice wine! — 6 months ago
First time trying this. Opened 8 hours before and decanted for 4, which I’d suggest at this stage. I don’t think I would have guessed Bordeaux blind, probably would have gone something from Piedmont. Not actually giving a ton on the nose, but quite nice and deep plum / purple fruited / leathery on the palate. Hauntingly balanced finish that goes on and on. Very nice. — 9 months ago
Aerated and decanted for 2 hours. Drinking so nicely. Beautiful finish — 5 years ago
I thought it was okay for the price point. I.E. over rated. It was a bigger wine for what I expected and not as complex as desired. — 9 years ago
Eine Wuuuuucht. Voll ausgewogenes Buckett, Noten von roten und dunklen Beeren, leicht Pfeffer. — 5 months ago
Excellent option - real velvet taste and mouth feel. Good for every day — 7 months ago
A very fresh and youthful style than other #margaux #grandcruclassé I was surprised by its acidity and minimal oxidative qualities. — 8 years ago
fruits rouge tannins soyeux , avec finale longue. Vraiment bon. — 11 years ago

Not one of the best Bordeaux that I have drank but quite decent. 20 years old and still holding its own. for the price point back in 2008 it delivered. — 4 months ago
