Excellent balance and precision. Not overpowering with secondary notes just opening. In a great spot. — 5 months ago

Superb. New Year’s Eve 2025. — 8 months ago

Just stunning. All the benefits of bottle age, complexity and finesse make this a superb Howell Mtn Cab. Loads of up front mountain fruit, a nice floral nose and balance through the mid palate ending in a long romantic finish. Touché to the older days of Ladera. — 10 months ago

Aroma of rich berries. Smooth and slightly sweet with a sour note. Very good. — 13 years ago
Tasty - good for steak — 4 months ago
Less tannic and more fruit forward than what I would expect from a young Howell Mtn cab. Big red and black fruit, ripe, nice mouthfeel but the fruit is dominant. Pretty good deal though finding it at an HEB in Houston. — 5 months ago
Really like this one. Not to oaked or buttered. — 6 months ago
I have a lot of these and most have been ok but this one was further along in its development. Knew I needed to drink these. Faster is the word of the day. — 7 months ago

Dark purple in color with notes of dark spices, licorice and blackberry. Well integrated tannins and will definitely benefit from ageing. — 9 years ago
