Classic Spanish flag color of yellow with red writing. Good brick red color. Just a hint of a purple core. Aroma is stones and red/black cherry cobblers-pies. Slightest of linseed oils. This full bodied white is made from the Falanghina grape - the main grape of Campania. Golden yellow in colour. Aromatics of mouldy apple and fresh herbs. Fermentation takes place in 70% stainless steel and 30% barrique which is the perfect oak influence for this wine I believe. I have previous Delectable notes for the 2018 vintage. Sight: Completely opaque, blood red, slight tawny. On nose: fruit forward, tobacco. On mouth: very smooth, full bodied, was difficult to taste fruits but strong oak and earthy presence. Might not have been at correct temperature. — 2 months ago
