My favorite Roilette bottling. Old vine; 90+. This is proof that Cru Beaujolais can age. Darker and heavier than your typical Gamay. Darker fruit, mix of red and black fruit. More structure and a little oak, medium tannins. Becoming harder and harder to source. Have a vertical from 2013 to 2020. — 4 months ago

Had it right out of the barrel on the 3rd Thursday in November! Dark ruby red, spice and pepper accents, sweetened over time, paired nicely with a traditional Coq au Vin. — 5 months ago
Good fruit, smooth tannins….this wine is drinking well and has some life left — 6 months ago
Fully mature mouth-coating herbs and tomato. Lacks freshness of most bojo but somehow works with broad mid-palate. A treat, for sure. — 8 months ago
Solid beauj. Lightweight with super soft (if any) tannins. Nose has an overriding vegetal characteristic. Mildest cherry finish. — 4 months ago
Fun and funky. A little yeasty but overall a solid natural beaujolais — 7 months ago
A juicy, acidic but sweet beaujolais. It's delicious and complex. — 8 months ago
Very tart, lip - smacking cherry juice. Would be lovely on the deck on a warm summer evening. Alas, it’s 25 and snowing, but nice nonetheless. Takes a little of the chill out of winter. — 3 months ago
