This wine is delicious. It has a textural richness, complementing an expressive bouquet of aromas and flavors crossing fruit (yellow apple, green pear, gooseberry, just ripe pineapple, lemon peel) and floral clusters (yellow flowers, blossom, honeysuckle), punctuated by herbaceous, steely, and flinty characteristics.
The Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc also lend acidity and lift to the profile, while supporting balance and establishing structure. The alcohol is high at 14.5% ABV but you would never know it.
This wine aged for 9 months in 250 liter oak barrels, augmenting the mouthfeel.

The 2015 Collio “Studio di Bianco” is an interesting blend of Sauvignon, Riesling and Tocai. The combination is stunning. The wine pours a light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose…whoa…super aromatic. The wine is developing with bright stone fruit, namely peaches, at first…and then with air, the tropical fruits and lemons emerge with chalky minerals. One the palate, the wine is dry with medium++ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The texture is incredible. The finish is super long and grippy. So chalky, and waxy! Energetic. Brilliant. Drink now and through 2035. — 4 months ago

Got at a wine bar. Great to drink on its own. — 6 months ago
Almond, cherry, dried rose petals, leather... This is nice. There is a barnyard funk think too, which goes away after a while. The palate is very well done with a good acid drive, some nice cherry notes all along, a vivid mouthfeel, some drying tannins in the rear, some savoury touches blossom in the finish along with bright cherry notes and that dried layer. It's a very good effort, one of the best classico I have tasted recently, quite easy going. — 7 months ago

No notes. Very nice super tuscan wine with a healthy amount of sangiovese. Great complexity, nice red fruits notes both on the nose and thr palate, super strong tannins, super long finish with a nice umami note. That's great stuff! — a month ago
