Deep Ruby, aged for 18 months in French oak, about 25% new, aromas of red and blue fruits with spice and earthy scents. On the palate flavors of plum, cherry and blueberry with some spice and cacao. This full-body wine had velvety smooth tannins, well balanced, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy character. — 2 years ago
Berry. Blueberry. Slight jammy. Nice color. Little boozy — 3 years ago
Smooth with blackberry and blueberry notes — 4 years ago
I was surprised how much I like this bottle. The immediate impression was similar to my first bottle of Clio: concentrated, powerful, and intense. Blueberry jam, cassis, dark spices, dark chocolate, and a lovely violet scent. Rich and dense palate but without being heavy. A bit of meatiness too. The acidity was enough to hold back the heat at the end. — 4 years ago
Yes, a little hint of blueberry on the finish. — 5 years ago
Exotic blueberry jolly rancher. 16%. — 2 years ago
Had a bottle 6 mos ago, just opened another. I just love the Gnarly Dudes, very enjoyable! Deep and dark purple color with aromas of fresh berry fruits with spicy notes. On the palate flavors of rich ripe fruits, plum and blueberry with fine tannins and vivid acidity to complement, with notes of cacao, toasty oak, vanilla and black pepper on a long finish ending with fruit and spice character. Nice!! — 3 years ago
Blueberry powerful. So tasty on lips. Love the complexity and smooth — 4 years ago
Nose of mushroom and compost, leather, tar, vanilla and blackberry pie. Spicy on the tongue, with almost bitter cherry and blueberry skin. Dark chocolate and mocha strike on the mid palate with minerality to finish. Plush yet elegant. Drank side by side with ‘09 - prefer the ‘10. Alcohol stays in balance on this vintage, subtle oak notes show to finish. Drink now with a splash decant. — 4 years ago
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon by La Jota is a seductive blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8.5% Cabernet Franc, 7.5% Merlot, 6% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot which was aged for 22 months in 65% new French oak prior to bottling. Needing more than a two hour decant at this juncture, the wine takes on glorious creme de cassis, Turkish coffee, blueberry cordial and wild thyme aromatics. The palate shows marvelous complexly and range. Black tea, blueberry compote, mocha and blackberry pie flavors all beautifully mingle in the glass. Rich and layered, this hedonistic effort will cellar marvelously for decades. Be sure to give this at least a two hour decant if enjoying in its youth. Drink 2020-2045- 95 — 5 years ago

Really a wow wine, wasn't expecting this showing, TBH this has 8-10Y in the tank still. — 2 years ago
After a very busy weekend, we sat around the table eating leftovers. Hard to see a Kosta Browne being a complement to “leftovers” but it was wonderful. Light red:purple color with strawberry and blueberry on the nose and some slight earth tones coming through the palate. This feels and tastes like a Russian River Valley Pinot but softer. Definitely worth having again. . . And again. — 3 years ago
Classic Bordeaux style blend from several estate vineyards. Aged for 19 months in French Oak. Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of fresh berry fruits with cedar and spice. On the palate sweet cherry, blackberry and blueberry fruit, with savory oak & cacao notes. Tannins were smooth but tight, with an earthy herb touch on the long finish. Faust wines do not disappoint, even when young. Nice! A Fav! Great Value! Tasting Sample! — 4 years ago
I have always been a huge fan of the wines produced by Charles Smith and K Vintners and this just adds fuel to the fire. Ripe blueberry, smoked meat, dark cocoa, cinnamon, tobacco just punch you in the face. Such a bold wine, very northern Rhône in style. So damn good. — 6 years ago
