A milk chocolate Hans Gruber is charming your pants off. Which pants? The purple velvet ones that say 'JUICY' on the butt.

I love this blend. It is the opposite of sweet! not as heavy as a cab but with the full body flavor and dry. Very unique I've never tasted anything quite like it, But than again I don't often get blends. I would highly recommend this especially if you are trying to avoid sweet wines.

Deep and sweet. Easy to drink with a blackberry taste. Pairs well with roasts. I love Apothic Red and this is a great alternative.

Delicious! Chocolate but not sweet. Rich & luscious but still light.

Apothic Dark is frightfully dark, enough so that we can just go ahead and call it black. As in a black hole, as in no light gets through. As in a sunlamp doesn't get through. The aromas peg the needle on the dark side as well. Blackberry, black currant, black plum and - for variety - blueberry. Flavors are in that same realm, with a dollop of oak spice on top. Apothic Red throws that element in with too heavy a hand for me, so it was a relief to find the oak effect more restrained in the Dark.

Like the Apothic Red blend, it has a nice fruity aroma only this wine is darker in color and has the more desirable dryness than their regular red blend.

3rd year tradition. Great on its own, deep dark fruits and hues, light chocolate, easy drinking!
