Nice to taste a Stag's Leap wine from when I was helping with the vineyards. 13.5 ABV from a current Napa cab house! Pretty much the end of an era even with them, now that Warren Winiarski is no longer the guiding force. Hope I'm wrong. A bit closed at first, delicious on day two.

I don’t drink Napa Cab very often, but this wine is singing. Still in great shape and with excellent fruit and structure. Very Bordeaux-like.

Solid baby brother to the Fay and SlV, but Cask 23 is still top dog in this litter. Offers deep, ripe fruit and satisfying oaky vanilla.

Gives Fay, SLV, and Cask-23 a close race when you factor in the price difference.

Great American cab. Big. Leather and body. Currants. Dried red fruit. Needs a couple more years. Be perfect in another 5.

Ripe round blueberries, olallieberries, spiced plum, black cherries, black raspberries, black licorice, violets, Asian spice, baking spices, black tea, crushed/powdery dark minerals, dry light earth, nice acidity and a 45 second round lush ripe fruit finish. Drinking nicely with only four years of bottle evolution. Artemis is a nice value in an otherwise pricey SL lineup. Priced right at Costco.

Subdued red raspberry, lots of soft tannins, thin on the mid palate and fades quickly. Enjoyable but overpriced.

Well, this is a departure. Purple fleurs, smoked paprika, blueberry confiture. #drinkingwithparents
