Dark, inky hue. Aromas of earthy, licorice, pepper, plum, pomegranate, rubber, tar, and tomato leaf. Full-bodied, with full tannins and plus acidity. Smooth, rounded finish. — a year ago
Pretty much exactly what you’d guess an Italian Gamay would taste like. Plus Gros’ gotta stick together. — 4 years ago
Glad I got a case. Excellent — 5 years ago
Good wine on an otherwise unlucky wine weekend — 7 years ago
2013 vintage. Primary fruit evident. Some bread notes. Stone fruits. Quite round. Acidity less noticeable. But bitter on finish. Pretty good. — 9 years ago

Terra orca is right! The earth is coming at me and I’m seeing red. But not the red of fury, the red of passion, the red of pleasure, and the red of desire. One sip of this and desire for the pleasure of passion from this wine endures. The palate parties with minerals. — 3 years ago

Founded over 160 years ago, Delas Frères was acquired by Champagne Deutz in 1977. 100% Syrah from a blend of grapes 70% Cote Brune & 30% Cote Blonde, aged in French oak (30% new), aromas of red berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate raspberry and plum flavors, savory with herb pepper spice. Fine tannins, nice mouthfeel, lingering ending with fruit and mineral on ending. — 5 years ago
A bit tart and slightly bitter. Good dark fruit perhaps in a few years it will smooth out. — 8 months ago
Oh so good tonight. Pnp perfection, offering gorgeous spicy aromatics with black and blue fruit, licorice, violets and dark cocoa. The palate is pure velvet, sappy, focused and concentrated with multidimensional depth of flavor, balanced acids and minerality that give way to a long saline and spice tinged finale. Love the vintage for Dujac, particularly the Vosne bottlings. — 10 months ago
Dark pungent wine. Taste better than smell. 15%. Sat for over an hour and didn’t open up. Drinkable but not what I expected for a a chateauneuf du pape — 3 years ago

Tasty and refined. — 4 years ago
Really tight, at first... searing acidity. Mellowed after a while. #lastglassbest — 5 years ago
