2020 is one of my favorite versions of Liaison. Mildly masculine, soft like wrinkle free satin sheets. Also pulpy and viscous with a roux-like foundation. It's a textural wine.
Smells like dried cedar dust and cherry and punchy acetone. Full of flavor. A blend of marooned macerated yogurt cup strawberries and cherry prune juice. — a year ago
1984, surprisingly tanic, acidic, and Heavy dried fruit, prunes and dried figs. over oxidized tasting at first but interesting. From producer to cellar at breakers in palm beach. Small leak out the bottle on one side of the cork. Over time it settles and the dried fruit subsides and then the lighter acidic flavors of fresh berries comes forward. — 3 years ago
Big juice. A classic. Supple. Opulent. Dark fruit and leather and and cedar and flint. Just melts into your tongue like dark chocolate. Always a banger. — 2 years ago

a dose of mineral, almost konbu-like wash, sea breeze, ash, pith, and beach plum. 48-hrs open. great clarity and snappiness, if a trifle quick on the back end, it’s made up for in prettiness. — 4 years ago

Salmon color with copper reflexes. Nose of grapefruit, and Mandarin peel, lemon juice, pink flowers, and petrichor. Faint Aperol on the back. Palate is explosive but not effusive. More grapefruit oil, lemon pith, garrigue, waves of saline minerality and a bright acidity that makes it go on and on. Pretty serious argument on why it deserves its reputation is the best rosé in the world — 3 days ago
