Oh my! Expected some oxidation, but this was showing no signs even after an hour. Dark and rich with incredible depth and complexity. Powerful and glorious nose. Dark fruit continued thru a very long finish. A great bottle. — 7 years ago

Ruby running to garnet, color. Earthy nose, brush, pine. We are way early of course. Sharp, bitter cut on the flowers, wood present, tannins still quite chalky and harsh. But this will be amazing with time. Alcohol and acidity will usher this wine into another dimension. I would give this another 2-3 years. You can drink it now at a score of 92+, but, hold out for 95. @Antonio Galloni will this make the cut for the future Barolo event?

Dinner out with the family in Michigan. Incredibly light colored wine. At first, good grip and tannins but a bit funky. But about 1 hour of airtime and it opened up beautifully with some red fruits and nutty notes. — 5 months ago
