Much softer than the 05 … still fairly primary but much nicer to drink today — 4 months ago
Christmas dinner. Light bodied, vanilla, cherry. Short finish. Fantastic — 5 months ago
Great. Anise, balsamic, and dark cherry. — 5 months ago
Ruby running to garnet, color. Earthy nose, brush, pine. We are way early of course. Sharp, bitter cut on the flowers, wood present, tannins still quite chalky and harsh. But this will be amazing with time. Alcohol and acidity will usher this wine into another dimension. I would give this another 2-3 years. You can drink it now at a score of 92+, but, hold out for 95. @Antonio Galloni will this make the cut for the future Barolo event?

Bright acid, tannin, sour cherry. — 4 months ago
Earthy (of course). Cherries, raspberries, strawberry, leather, and tobacco. Outstanding, and just coming into its own. — 5 months ago
Wine has aged beautifully. Tannins have softened and the bold flavor paired perfectly with lamb chops roasted with garlic and herbs. — 4 years ago
Still holding more of the red color than the other 64s, but very nice tar and roses, and after 4hr decant well integrated with lots of life. — 8 years ago
Pleasing to drink and very balanced but not what I expected. The tannins are weaker than the fruit and it doesn't wow on the nose. Nothing wrong with it but as the saying goes "I've had better" — 9 years ago
