In 1972, Alejandro Fernández & wife Esperanza Rivera of Pesquera de Duero initiated the renaissance of Ribera del Duero appellation with area's first modern wire-trained vineyard, their Viña Alta in Pesquera. Their entry level wine is a great value. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and clean spice. Palate shows flavors of red berry fruits, vanilla, spice, and licorice notes, vivid acidity.
