More in alignment with WS review: “Cherry, raspberry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors mark this perfumed red. Racy and elegant, with defining acidity. Persistent finish. Drink now through 2028. 3,300 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.” — Bruce Sanderson… Versus WE: “Like a garden at twilight, this Barbera lifts with violets and lavender before diving into a pool of plums and boysenberries, kissed by fresh herbs. The palate mirrors this purple-fruited dance with juicy precision. Give it a slight chill and watch it become the life of the party.” — Jeff Porter. — 7 months ago
I had this with Tamara and Mario when I made a rabbit stew in Alexander Valley. — 9 months ago
Very clear and transparent. Lovely wild strawberry and liquorice palate, plenty of power such that it could almost pass as a barolo, but not drying. 14%. Really very good. — 6 years ago
Intense, traditional / med+ body with a solid acid structure to match / red fruit, vibrant purple fruit, light spice — 8 years ago

Reddish in color with a purplish hue.
Elegant nose and full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing raspberries, cherries, black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak and spices.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is an elegant and very pleasant Nebbiolo from Piedmont.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.
Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in used American and French oak barrels for 12 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 5 months ago
Ароматное, на вкус не очень сложное, но Сереже понравилось. Пардон, питкое. — 9 months ago
Threw a few of these in the cellar just to see what would happen. Finally coming into its own in Hour 2. Dark blue black fruits, nice acidity, balanced. Really nice. Great for Sunday pasta and red sauce. — 4 years ago
Wonderful acidity, well balanced fruit, a firm finish. This is top shelf Barbera and a real delight. Bravo. — 10 years ago
Black cherry, herbaceous and leather. Not lengthy but freshness from the light acidity. Pleasant drink — 11 years ago
