Pleasing #viognier from #elquivalley. Unscrewed the top over a week ago, less impressed than. After settling for that much time in the cold section of wine fridge, this wine is delightful as it warms up. Citrus, white flower, green herbal notes on nose. Glossy texture on palate, though the varietal is typically lower acidity it’s still well balanced with a hint of honeyed sweetness on the tongue. Paired so well with a parsley, mushroom and jalapeño croissant Strata with fresh tomato sauce. — 2 months ago

Delicious. So juicy and nuanced. There’s so much concentration! The barrel fermentation is perfect in my opinion. There’s a little bit of intentional reduction and there are some popcorn aromas as well. On the palate a rich rush of lemon pie, lemon tart, pineapple, and quince fills your mouth. #cheninblanc #verdelho #viognier #coastalregion #southafrica 13.5% alcohol and perfect.
