Kaffir, lemongrass, chamomile. Saline. Unctuous and long. Possibly the best Magellan Blanc ever. Special. #languedoc #grenacheblanc #roussanne — 9 years ago
A very nice example of a white #rhonewine with the body of the #roussanne and the all the richness and spice from #lees and #marsanne #jaboulet — 10 years ago
Tastes exactly as good as a blend of #Roussanne #Viognier & #Chardonnay can get. But seriously: spiced nuts, beeswax, tropical flowers, brioche. #sinequanon #thehoodooman — 11 years ago
From consultant/vigneron Jean-Luc Colombo, 60% #Roussanne 40% #Marsanne. Tropical fruit + saline minerality lo — 11 years ago
Boldly aromatic with layers of stone fruit, lavender honey, crushed flowers and mineral. Unctuous on the palate, very complex and extremely rich, with expressive honeysuckle, peach, white grapes, baked pear and a hint of marzipan. Gorgeous on the finish! #wine #beaucastelblanc #roussanne #heaven — 11 years ago
Nice crisp stone fruit (apricot and white peach) aromas and flavors and a touch of tangerine. #losolivos #sbcountywines #sbcounty #santabarbaracounty #santabarbara #grenacheblanc #garnachablanca #picpoul #viognier #marsanne #roussanne — 5 years ago

Chamomile, dry cider, Fino, hazelnuts and sea salt. More skin contact, less new oak this year. Hermitage-like. Ridiculous. #roussanne #stolpmanvineyards — 9 years ago

Honey, chamomile, toasted hazelnut. Big and rich, but balanced by superb acidity & lower alcohol. Gets better every year! #stolpman #roussanne — 9 years ago
Chamomile, acacia honey, hazelnuts. Superbly concentrated, plenty of acidity, long. Lift & elegance. One of the best Stolpman Roussannes ever. @Peter Stolpman #ballardcanyon #roussanne — 10 years ago

Different from what I am used to, but then perhaps I really need to taste a lot more #Viognier I guess this one may take some time to grow on me.
Floral, fresh pear, kiwi, and honeysuckle. #Guigal #CotesduRhone

2009 is tasting great for so many wines. Subtle nose of baked golden delicious apple, toasted hazelnuts, shortbread, and cloves with a rich, waxy mouthfeel. Lingering finish with medium acidity and similar notes on the palate. Love this small producer! #roussanne #2009 #southard #columbiavalley #washingtonwine — 11 years ago
Wine of the night for many, the facts: made from 80% Roussanne and 20% Grenache Blanc, from vines between 10-40 years old, and a small quantity of the “Vieilles Vignes” cuvee, produced entirely from Roussanne vines of at least 65 years of age. Deep gold in color, this is indeed in the mature stage. A complex and full nose showed layers of almonds, sea breeze, candied citrus and honeysuckle. The palate indeed confirmed the small bit of oxidized notes (sherry like saline) that went very well with the yellow fruits and flowers, full bodied with grace, minerality and good acid cut which no doubt is how it was able to age. — 12 years ago
