Shake it, shake it baby! Another winner from @jolielaidewines that I couldn’t leave alone in the cellar any longer. Gorgeous blackberry, boysenberry and floral notes mix with black cherry and hints of charred sage and a touch of earth that linger with powdery tannins in the finish. Fantastic acidity. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and a dollop of Viognier from the increasingly legendary Shake Ridge Ranch.

This needed a day to really hit its stride. Just kept the cork in on the counter. Tons of fruit from blackberries, cherries, also a bit of stone fruit. Some herbs, stone, and just a touch of flowers. It really is well balanced. This seems like a Beaujolais-CDP love child. Amazing for the climate this comes from.

Both red and black fruits, briny black olive, anise, floral, earth, sage-like herbaciousness. Palate is dry, medium acidity, smooth tannins. Blueberries, cherries, strawberries, very fresh and lively on the palate - not jammy or rich. Secondary flavors of mushrooms, white pepper, sage, forest floor. Perfectly balanced. This is sublime!
