Silky mouthfeel showing cherrywood and crispy bay leaf, earl grey tea, fallen oak, coffee soaked puffball mushroom, smoky pencil, peppercorn and lavender. A pleasure from end to end, and focused.

Smoky graphite and mineral opening with fully integrated tannins and overall cohesion. Lovely floral and berry mix with mulberry, cassis and currant, lavender, rose, and violet. Strong showing on a 38 year old wine.

Black and red currant, slight grapiness, cedar bark, pencil, black olive, wheat toast, fine tabac, clove, red cherry. Pointy in places, but really holding together in terms of age.
