Very nice balance of fruit and acid. This wine show excellent depth and body. Just had my second bottle and very disappointed I only have one more in the cellar. — 10 years ago
Love all the wines from Weir Vineyard and this is no exception. — 10 years ago
2013 vintage. Wow. Complex, rick, great acidity, long finish. — 10 years ago
Weir vineyard 2009.; Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino County. Red and black currants, saffron, beautiful. World-class Pinot! "Eccentric clones" says the label, also high elevation near the coast. Concentrated but elegant - remarkable. — 11 years ago
First of the 2016 vintage for me. Same blend as 2015 (65% Malbec 18% cab franc 17% Merlot). Seems a bit jammier and a bit smoother than 2015. — 7 years ago
I know it's only Merlot wine but I like it.

I know it's only Merlot wine but I like it like it yes I do🎶🎶🎶 — 8 years ago
Delicious wine from a rare variety planted in a very unique site in the NorCal mountains. Not expecting the multitude of happy sensations received whilst imbibing. Shared with woman life partner. She seemed to enjoy as well. Spicy cove, tobacco, expired yet indelible black pepper ever present. 15 minutes in, dark fruit core begins to show. This wine is structured. Fierce, gripping tannin grabbed me like a thief in a dark alley. I really like the seriousness of this wine esp since it hails from a very unknown areas. It's nice right now but id like to see this wine in my glass in 3 years. 13.5%. — 9 years ago
Big fan, lovely and clean — 9 years ago
Bright. Good acid balanced with proper blend finish. You can almost single out the Verdot. Quite good and organic to boot! — 10 years ago
This vineyard can do no wrong in whomever's hands the fruit is bestowed. Day 1- Aromatic rock star, with a meek obtuse mouth. Day 2- mouth caught up. Dark, lingering, complex. — 11 years ago
This was a fun fine for Christmas snacks — 12 years ago
