Sparkling Chardonnay Blend 2015

Vintage 2015 | the big bubbles from the mousse are in fact the only thing why I doubted for a moment if the wine in my glass would be champagne. But the yeast in taste, apple and high acidity was very convincing to me. Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot Meunier. Happens to me made at the doorstep of the King in England 🫢 — a day ago

Jackson Park Vineyard Merlot 2015

Polished domestic Merlot. Very savory on the nose. Almost classic Bordeaux in style , green olive and olive tapenade. Oregano and thyme with just a hint of oak hut not overly in your face. Beautiful inky hue. Lots of great tannin and acidity on the backbone of this wine. Plenty of room to keep aging. Blackberries and blueberries upfront. Fantastic finish that lingers without feeling big heat. Very well balanced at 14.5% — 2 years ago

Domaine du Galet des Papes

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend 2003

Got the last ‘03 bottle!! cherry and plum on both the nose and palate with slight mushrooms and earth tones. An excellent wine that hasn’t appeared to age. Shout out to Bird & Jim - if you are in Estes Park you MUST stop here. Great food and an excellent wine list! — 4 years ago

Estate Bottled "Coombsville Divide" Merlot 2019

2019 vintage. Great, lean leathery, earthy nose. Medium body. Excellent QPR. Haven't been selling much merlot lately so tough to get too agitated/excited but this was dynamite. 04.09.25. — a month ago

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2021

2021. Kermit knocking it out of the park again, as always. Pretty raspberry/cherry notes, spice, fruit roll up, hint of pepper, crushed rocks, baking spice, earth and great acid. Love the 13.5 ABV. — 8 months ago

Great Southern Riesling 2009

Aromatics of Talc, white flowers a little peach and grapefruit. On the palate citrus and peach with diminishing acid. Just a fabulous mature Riesling with just a hint of petro chemical developing in the form of paraffin. It stamps the Great Southern in Western Australia as one of the premium Riesling districts in Australia. One of the 1001 wines and deserves to be. James Halliday wrote “year in, year out, one of Australia’s best Rieslings”. — 4 years ago
