Happy 5777! Minerals galore. Crisp and clean and super sleek on the palate. Comes across like a Trocken. Almost a confectionary slatey aroma that develops after a while. Juicy and this straddles the line between feinherb and Trocken. Terrific. — 9 years ago

Ofcourse way too young, needs probably another 5 years in the cellar but I absolutely enjoy this youthfulness aswell with already great balance of sweetness and acidity with loads of fresh stone fruit and citrus flavours and a lot of floral notes. Continuing the Syrah kick. Pax Mahle working with Cardiac Hill fruit. The most northern rhone wine I've ever tasted out of CA, this could kill in a blind tasting. I'm now drinking it on day 3 and it's finally starting to come into a zone. It's still dry and austere, but with wonderful blue fruit underneath. This thing needs 10 years. — 10 years ago
