Way more reduction than I’m used to with this but blew off with time — 10 days ago
v18. Wow! Extremely good! Soft orange blossom and fusel oil nose. Luscious Granny Smith apple and lime zest fruit. Bright, long, crisp, slight effervescent and oily finish. Enjoyable! — 22 days ago
Not as bad as I remember it. It’s been a while though.
Slightly, bruised pear & red & green apple, lime zest, lemon pulp, some ginger white spice w/ a touch of heat, limestone mixed in volcanic minerals, crisp chalkiness, sea spray, yeasty bread dough, yellow & white spring flowers, lively acidity and a balanced & nicely polished elegant finish that last 45 seconds and lands on volcanics.

Very fresh and bright. Merlin and hints of lime. Slate and salinity. Great presence on the mid palate and a long way to go still. Very good — 2 months ago
Outrageous. Intense pretty and bright. Lemon curd, orange rind, lifted zesty fruit. Just spectacular — 21 days ago
No flaws but overpriced. 2013 vintage — 7 days ago
Back dating our reviews as we’ve been to this (excellent) restaurant twice in the past three days!
Superb seafood and this Chablis was the perfect accompaniment.
👏 to Michael the resident Sommelier for the selection.

It’s hard to find fully shed classic Viura (white Rioja) anymore but old-school Lopez de Heredia clings to tradition. This wine, nearly 10 years old on release, is fascinating - aged to the point of considerable oxidation yet it retains its fruit ands acidity. Bruised apple, ripe pear, golden raisin, orange peel, flint, wet stones, and hay happily coexist with hazelnut, dried orange peel, coconut, baking spices ands more. The medium acidity is a firm foundation to a richly textured wine, Long finish too! — a month ago
Light lemon color with aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of grapefruit, green apple and pear fruit flavors, slight grassy tones, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herbal, floral, citrus and mineral notes. Do not over chill so you can experience all of the nuances while you sip this fine wine. Nice, consistent. — 2 months ago
Light sweet and crisp more of a spring time wine than a fall but would definitely get again! — 10 days ago

I just love their Chardonnay. Good acidity but just so smooth with peach, wet stone, and yellow apple. — a month ago
