Serious gamay here - drank it too young and could use another couple years in the bottle to mellow some. Concentrated sour black cherry flavors with some hints of savory spices. Tannins need a bit more time to integrate. Wish I had another bottle to try again in the future. — 3 years ago
Almost 2 years since I’ve had this. What a wine. Gorgeous nose of herbal vegetables that are so so fresh. Dynamic mineralIty on the nose with also a hint of fat. Palate is elegant and mineral with wonderful juiciness and a haunting opulent yet undeniably fresh texture. Age has really helped this be fully expressive. Great balance and purity. — 4 years ago
Not your typical SV. Drinks like a chardonnay. — 6 years ago
The hits continue! Another brilliant wine from Walter. Paired with tuna. — 7 years ago

Ken and Erica have crafted a lovely Chardonnay. Vibrant citrus, pear aromas with similar flavors all supported by an excellent balance and intensity. Pale straw color indicates this has many years to go; and the wine speaks of a freshness that is very convincing. Should have bought more. — 9 years ago
Nice and smooth — 10 years ago
The expressive nose shows ripe peach, apricot, coconut, dried white flower, roasted almond, and hint of honey. The medium to full body is richly textured with great depth of flavors echoing the nose, yet mange’s to be nimble enough. Long elegant finish.
From selected parcels from the estate vineyards at the highest elevation, This is an exuberant yet graceful chard. Super delicious. — 3 years ago
Birthday gift cards = high-end thanksgiving pinots. Russian River candy apple top notes remain my favorite. — 3 years ago
This is good. The nose is gorgeous. I can smell it for days (I have been). There’s white pepper, potpourri medley (rose, lavender), red and blue fruit. The tannins are lush with present acidity that’s not overbearing. That palate has a good spice, less floral quality with good red fruit, pomegranate and red cherries. I’d say drink now, but definitely don’t wait more than a couple years (2022 ish). — 4 years ago
This is a very good pac NW Pinot. Lovely now but Maybe another year or 2 to lay down. — 5 years ago
Christmas Eve dinner with penne ala vodka — 5 years ago
Such a great bottle. As good as it is when popped and poured hours and days open make it even better. Big cherries and dead dried leaves with some moss and mineral funk. Lovely pure aromas. Spices as well. Drinking so well now. Super fresh and sweet cherry fruit and wonderful balance and purity. Elegant and beautifully balanced wine. — 6 years ago
Classic Walter Scott. Lighter on the palate. Slight wood. Cherry. — 9 years ago
OR's best Pinot Blanc and a true value! — 9 years ago
Smooth, drinkable - would pair well with anything. Had with a wonderful Italian meal.
Ruby wine club notes: The Cavallotto family claims sole ownership of the beautiful Bricco Boschis cru in the Castiglione Falletto district (also home to Azelia), where they have been growing Nebbiolo since 1929 and bottling their own wine since 1948. These richly structured wines place emphasis on elegance and longevity, attributable to excellent vineyards in the Bricco Boschis and Vignolo crus and traditional long maturation periods in large Slovenian-oak casks. After meeting and tasting with Winemaker and owner Alfio Cavallotto, I was incredibly impressed with his wines and thought his Dolcetto was one of the best I had tasted all year. This wine offers the crunchy red fruits for which Dolcetto is known for, with an element of licorice, and sandalwood. This Impressive effort will pair with just about anything, but it is highly fashionable with pasta and grilled meats. — 10 years ago

Accompanied Thanksgiving dinner. Might be one of the highest rated Chards I’ve ever tried. Enjoyed it. Well made. Matched well with our Bernaise sauce. We debated how to rate this given all the other wines served were red or dessert wines. Should be rated higher if served with other Chardonnay-appropriate dishes. — 4 years ago
Lovely nose. Cherry flowers and spatburgunder. Palate is so fresh. Lovely bright cherry with some depth. Very very Juicy. Mineral. Nice long finish with a hint of licorice. Really really delicious. This is an early ripening variant of Pinot noir. Bought from Fass Selections. Some savory elements starting to come out at 60 minutes. Oh Wow. It’s getting even better. Nose is chambolly. Palate has awesome texture. Sweet fruit. Mineral. Spice. Wow. — 6 years ago

Cahill earns her place on the rich end Of the spectrum and the 2012 vintage shows that character especially well. Ripe orchard fruits. Apricots. Cultured butter. Brioche. Abv is warm but the style supports it. — 9 years ago
Love the sweetness of this wine. Not over the top. Just the right amount for a sweet red. Delectable and mouthwatering. — 9 years ago

Dark gold color. Needed some air to blow off some funk. Nutty and buttery with low acid. Medium plus depth. Finish could have been longer. Good QPR @ $34. — 2 years ago
