Great nose off the bat. Smokey cherry. Wood shavings. Spice. Complex mineral and earth. Very nice. Palate is elegant and nimble with lovely sour cherries and sweetness on the finish. Fine tannins and excellent freshness.

Been almost 1.5 years and wanted to check in. Nose of sour and mid season cherry fruits. Loads of spice and forest scents. Very pretty. Some spice as well. Palate is ripe and round with gorgeous purity and freshness. Crisp and clean with solid cherry fruit and nice balance. Really lovely and a terrific value. Good concentration and energy.

Unique style. Nose has identifiably PN sappy cherry fruit, but with a good dose of brambly twigs and chalky minerality. The palate is uncompromisingly dry and is all about the minerality. Crisp and light for 13%. I’d compare this to a cross between an Auxerrois Pinot and a red Sancerre from a cool year.

UPDATE: Night 2 there is more weight in the mouth and more fruit presence. Seems more complete. Upping from 8.8 to 9.0

Such a great bottle. As good as it is when popped and poured hours and days open make it even better. Big cherries and dead dried leaves with some moss and mineral funk. Lovely pure aromas. Spices as well. Drinking so well now. Super fresh and sweet cherry fruit and wonderful balance and purity. Elegant and beautifully balanced wine.
