Temperance Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Ruby red, lightly to moderately extracted pigment, excellent clarity. Earthy, slightly funky nose initially. Hint of raspberry, good initial acidity, some seed bitterness on finish with length. Needs time to open but well structured wine. Cherry flavor and light-to-moderate skin astringency emerge after 30 minutes. Barnyard stink blows off after two hours. Worth the wait.

Savory red-fruit elements describe this Pinot. Good tannic backbone and crunchy red fruits predominate.

This winery never disappoints. The fact that it is run by great people is s bonus.

Great wine. Tremendous balance of fruit and earth with great structure and acidity.

Best domestic Pinot I've had in years. Power, earth, elegance, structure. The complete package. 🙌
