Walter is a genius for saving Timorasso. Petrol, marzipan, and loads of minerality.

Lovely and fresh. Petroleum notes, lemon, oily in trxture with great minerality, acidity and balance. Lovely stuff.

And then God created the perfect wine. Its soul was part St. Aubin, part Albariño. Its body was svelte, with liquid curves and a frisson of feral charm. Pear and apple, hay and jicama. Rainwater and mineral, some juicy white peach and orange essence. A cool cheesy note. Style. One of those uncanny wines that works with lighter or heartier fare, charming all along the way. Let's just drink this one, shall we? 🔝

Salinity on the palate and nose. Lemon rind, slightly herbaceous, with nice minerality on the palate.

Christ... Is there a more compelling Italian white wine available in the US? Probably in New York. But western North Carolina? It's like high quality Savenniéres without the bruised apple aroma and solute-heavy urine color.

An underestimated and under appreciated varietal. It's hard to compete with the reds of Piedmont but this wine delivers.

Great nose, but flavor is so astringent that it is hard to enjoy. This is my first experience with the Timorasso grape, but I am not impressed. It has a lovely nose like Chenin Blanc, sunny and filled with tropical fruit. But the flavor is lemons with a sourness like a real lemon that will make you pucker.

Fruity, sweet, citrusy. Not a lot of bite so goes down easy, but delicious and definitely a repeat buy

There's some sort of magic going on here... this wine just seems to disappear every time I pour a glass.
