Big! Leesy. Golden in the glass. Hay, mango, lemon curd, pineapple, coconut. Cork showed leakage but the wine was in great shape. Lots of power here. Blind tasters immediately went to Chardonnay, and it’s hard not to given the buttery quality. Really cool wine, but not at $100 on the shelf. — 10 months ago
Pop and pour. This is flat-out gorgeous. The wood influence in this bottle is much less visible, by comparison to my last btl. On the nose: peach, basil, vanilla cream, ripe meyer lemon, so compelling. On the palate: fantastic acidity, amazing density, lovely spiced peach, citrus and a touch of white pepper on the dense finish. Absolutely stunning. — 4 years ago
Gorgeous. Sweet‘n‘sour love. — 5 years ago
The condition of the bottle was remarkable - the wine was fresh and crisp, like the day it was bottled. Bright with a tinge of green, no signs of TDN at all. Only the mellowed acidity gave any indication of age. Insane!
Despite all that, the wine itself was rather disappointing. Not really complex or deep, and finish was quite short. I guess it did come from a tough vintage. However, it had the classic Grunhaus lightness - drinking more like a kabi than spat. In conclusion, an easy fun drink that fell below expectations. — 7 years ago

Palate Juicy and fruity. Nice grippy chalkiness — 8 months ago
Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — 9 months ago
Very light and easy to drink. No harshness. — 4 years ago
— 5 years ago

Dry, crisp, and heavenly. Lightly tart green apple with hay and dried apricots. — 4 years ago

Sometimes you know a wine is good when you want to drink it in slowly. Savor it I guess:) — 8 months ago
