Light, spicy, Juicy and smooth: A simple joy can be as satisfying as any complex piece of art, if made on point. Try this easy going Cabernet Franc and try to proove me wrong! — 9 months ago
For a hot July 4th back patio party, this #beaujolaisvillages hit the spot. Crunchy red fruit, a bit too cool to notice much more aromatics, refreshing cherry, cranberry taste, solid acidity. Nice pairing for Boerewors (South African sausage) and rabbit & pork hot dogs. — 22 days ago
As good as the last time we had it here.. — 7 months ago
2016 vintage. You can't go wrong with the Domaines Martin wines these days, and they have made some of their best wines in this excellent vintage ( Gloria 2016 might well be the best ever!). This Cabernet Sauvignon dominated Haut-Médoc features a deep dark red colour, and a nose with cassis, cedar and dark chocolate. In the mouth it shows impeccable balance with the juicy black fruit balanced by fresh acidity and well-tamed tannin. Terrific value too. — a year ago
Great concentration, depth and freshness. Aged in concrete. Approachable now but will age. — 3 months ago
Thought may be sliding down but not so, nicely balanced and interesting profile great with several dinners. — 5 months ago
Luxurious red blend with fruit forward cherry, currant and vanilla. Finish not as complex as my favorite Napa Cabs or blends. Enjoyable. — 10 months ago
Crisp mineral and touch of citrus both on the nose and taste. Very enjoyable. — 3 years ago

Nose: dark and serious with major tobacco. Hints of vegetal tones. Lilacs as it opens.
Palate: still fresh. Tobacco. Dense dark berry fruit.
Like a lecture on Hegel. Very serious.
As this opens more delicious and less ungiving. Beautiful silky texture.
3 hours in getting crazy. Nose has these gorgeous dense florals. So complex. Pink roses. This is why we drink wine. Still so fresh on the palate. Long.
