I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 3 months ago
Excellent! With graphite, black/blue berries, tobacco, and earth/herbs. Happy Christmas! — 7 months ago
Fairly dry and light. A bit of acidity, low tannins. Wish it was more full bodied and complex. Finish also short. — 2 days ago
Drinking in 2025. drink now will not materially improve with age. — 5 days ago
Mucho mejor de lo esperado, buen balance de fruta seca y madera, vainilla. — 6 months ago
Rich, but not flabby. Blackberry-type fruit with a healthy helping of spice, herbs, and chocolate with some smoky notes. Nicely integrated oak with chewy tannins (the wine is unfiltered) — 16 days ago
Still showing well. Great with the ribs — 7 months ago

had this years ago and i feel like they've made some great strides: Monastrell from Yecla can be flabby fruit bombs, but this is a legit wine, great old vine material, had some of the secondary aromas & flavors from southern France, some of that feral quality, some iodine, white pepper along with copious amount of black & red fruit. polished & poised, smooth thru nice finish — 11 days ago
