Turns out this is not an Albariño but an entirely different grape. That said, this wine is still a great white wine. Little bit of citrus but lots of floral and honey notes on this one both in the nose and on the tongue. Hints of minerality on the nose and effervescence on the palate really make this a unique wine. I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 4 months ago
