Pleasant cheer and dry finish — 5 years ago
Young and fine. Modest dark fruits, very light tannins, medium bodied, pleasant nose and finish post-aeration. Not much spice in the 2018. Very good for the price. — 6 years ago
Really smooth and great finish. — 6 years ago
Pale gold color; apple, almond, melon, coconut and dried herbs on the nose; flavors of quince, melon, stone fruit and citrus blossom; light bodied but elegant - full of flavor but balanced out with the right amount of acidity. Enjoyed this with a simple nosh of herbed Brie, apple slices and crackers — 6 years ago

What a good vintage this was for the rosato. Deep aromas of blossom, apple and cherries. Firm grip, good acidity, minerality. Sad this was my last bottle. — 3 years ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, blossom and sweet spice, spending 20 months in new French oak, grapes grown mostly in alluvial sandy souls. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with notes of licorice, cacao and spice, savory. Full fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral character, slight alcohol presence. Tried about a year ago, aging well! — 5 years ago
Just love this wine, BUT NOT ANYMORE, READ END! Belle Pente (bell-pont') means "beautiful slope" - for their 70 acre hillside vineyard & winery site in Willamette Valley. Bright Ruby with aromas of red fruits, herb spices & hints of blossom notes. On the palate strawberry & cherry flavors, slight sweet undertones, herb notes & smooth tannins. Well balanced on a long finish ending with mineral herb notes. Great value, but THEY LEAVE CORK EXPOSED, I WILL NO LONGER DRINK WINE WITH CONTAMINATED CORKS. PROTECT YOUR CORK, WAX COSTS PENNIES! — 5 years ago
Fantastic - paired with Italian or on its own. Easy drinking, smooth. — 5 years ago
medium body, pleasant 'jammy' fruit flavor, drier finish. Pleasing deep red/violet in color. — 6 years ago
Charles "Champagne Charlie" Heidsieck was one of the first to recognize the importance of the U.S. as a Champagne market. A blend with 40% reserve wines, fruit and floral bouquet, with orange blossom & yeasty notes. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, showing quality. Outstanding rich flavors of apple, pear and biscuit, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Long finish ending with toasty nutty oak & mineral notes. — 6 years ago

We had this at Ruth Chris in Embassy suites in Chattanooga. Spring break with the boys. Very mellow. Easy sip! — 4 years ago
A blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months . Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. — 4 years ago
👁 This wine was medium gold with strong tearing and thick viscosity.
👃On the nose this wine had a pronounced intensity of youthful aromas. Aromas included dried apricot, ripe peach, ripe cantaloupe, honeysuckle, white blossom, beeswax, and lavender honey notes.
👄 On the palate this wine was sweet. It had medium acidity, a full body, high alcohol, and pronounced intensity of flavors consistent with the nose. The finish was long.
This was an excellent wine paired with an assortment of desserts. It has potential for further aging.

The estate of Sette Ponti lies in the heart of the Chianti zone, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past the village of San Giustino Valdarno. Crognolo, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry and sweet cherry flavors, blossom notes, spice and fine dusty tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Try in 2022. — 5 years ago
Tried at a tasting, like it, so I bought a bottle. An interesting and unique Albariño. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, blossom and biscuit notes. This wine was fermented in oak, and kept on lees for 6 months, with occasional stirring (batonnage), giving a soft creamy yeasty tone to the wine, aging well. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with toasty oak notes and vanilla spice. Long smooth finish, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and oak character. Nice! — 6 years ago
Very enjoyable Wednesday Wine Committee lunch today with @Weston Eidson & @Colby Siratt hosting. Same format as always...1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine all tasted blind.
Always such a big fan of these. It’s light and nimble while remaining viscous and powerful. Honeyed orange blossom, roasted and caramelized cashews and lemon oil. Acidity down the middle of the palate accompanies honeysuckle and graham cracker. I called this mid-‘00s Sauternes. — 7 years ago

This wine has a medium lemon hue with refreshing and zesty notes of lemon peel, grapefruit pith, and kumquat, alongside juicy peach, nectarine, yellow apple, chamomile, white blossom, chervil, saline, and wet stone characteristics.
It carries a relative richness lending balance to the fresh primary and mineral notes with a fuller mouthfeel.
This wine is made exclusively from the Godello variety hailing from northwest Spain’s Bierzo appellation in the Castilla Y Leon region.
It was produced by Raul Perez, an acclaimed, small-batch winemaker whose practices have built a beautiful platform upon which the fruit and terroir may express themselves to the fullest and purest extent.
A delightful pairing with pan-seared halibut with roasted broccolini. Cheers!
