Bracing acidity, nose of petrol and tropical fruits, guava and fresh mango on the palate. A bit reminiscent of the sunny Rheingau region for a dry German Riesling.

Ripe and fruit-forward despite the modest frame, lightly salty, and very lightly nutty. Good buy on clearance at Safeway for $13

Notes of Lemon Zest and citrus generally. On the palate lively fresh Citrus flavours with a little salinity. This Soave has some Trebbiano in the blend with Garaganega dominating of course. This gives the wine a fuller mouth feel because of the Trebbiano. Very moreish and easy to drink. Tasted again on 8th March 2018 and loved it. More nutty aromas and more Saline, making one wanting a second glass!

Lemon in colour. Notes of almond, citrus and apricot. The blend is 85% Garganega and 15% Trebbiano di Soave. The latter grape gives a more luscious feel on the palate than you would expect showing peach, ripe apple and mineral. Has filled out nicely since its youth. A lovely wine at its peak with medium minus acid.

After some heavy reduction early on (screw cap?), reveals some lovely fruit and shimmering minerality. Tart stone fruit, sea spray and Asian pear are all wonderful, but it’s the remarkable mouthfeel of this wine that makes it memorable. Minerals, zest and acid are abundant but they attack the palate gracefully and reveal a surprisingly amount of richness.

A very mineral driven wine. Meyer lemon, orange blossom, ripe tangerine, jelly, hint of honey, slight corn notes, maybe a little oak treatment. Chalk and crushed rocks really stands out. Obvious lees contact. Bitterness, bright acid, slight oily texture. Some heat on the finish.

Salted lemon, tangerine, sweet pear, and fresh herbs. Medium bodied and kinda oily in the mouth. I don’t have much experience with Soave but it reminds me a lot of Colombard from S. France.
