One of America’s best, in winemaker Maggie Harrison. Great to find this on a list with a bit of age. There’s such a beguiling combination of savory earth, mineral and rich cherry fruit flavors, with killer concentration, a plush texture and serious length. Top notch Domestic Pinot for sure. — 8 months ago

Nice medium body — 7 months ago
High acidity and quite a lot of tannins, but well rounded. Black and blueberries with herbal notes. Excellent with food, quite good by itself. Needs to breathe a little. — 7 months ago
Very nice. Tart. Medium body. Great dinner in Barcelona — 10 months ago
Good berry flavor. 100% best one I’ve had so far — 4 years ago
A blend of 77% Cab Sauv, 13% Merlot, 7% Syrah, 3% Petite Sirah & 1% Cab Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of rich ripe berry fruits, cedar and earthy herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum, with cacao, tobacco and oaky notes. Nice balance, soft chewy tannins, long finish ending with creamy vanilla spice and cedar character. Nice value! — 5 years ago
This was like drinking peach soda but in a good way. Love it! — 5 years ago
Fruit forward Spanish wine. Paired well with pizza and dark chocolate. Very smooth on the palette — 6 years ago
Opened and decanted 2.5 hours in advance of our inaugural Aglianco Osso Buco wine dinner here at the Gotham
Facing off against a range of Aglianco from Unti in Sonoma, Leonetti in WA and Galardi 2007 in Campania
The 2010 Galardi was the most dense and as with the 2007, the fruit was minimal. Instead the flavor profile is herbs, green olives and incredible savory notes. It worked incredibly well with the osso buco and needed the richness to shine. This wine still had a bit of hard edges and could use more bottle age IMO — 7 months ago
Terrific rose of pinot noir from Maggie Harrison of Antica Terra. This is not your garden-variety rose: serious skin contact time coupled with her incredible wine-making abilities has produced a really substantive wine. Reminds me a bit of Manfred’s SQN roses (not surprising, I guess, since Maggie worked with Manfred for I believe a decade or so before striking out on her own with what I think is the best winery in the Willamette Valley). Do yourself a favor and try to snag some of this. Terrific juice. — 4 years ago
