Ruby and brownish color. Muted bouquet of mushroom, clove and black cherry. Modest acidity, supple tannins and rounded in mouth suggests the wine is mature but not in decline. Elegant with a lovely, long and firm finish. The wine kept evolving an hour after decanting but then was fully consumed. A beautiful expression of mature Barolo. — 8 years ago

Dark ruby color, with bright acidity in the glass. Sensuous bouquet of plum liqueur, blackberry and cassis. Powerful well balanced and still young fruit in the mouth, well rounded with sweetness penetrating firm tannins. Beautiful long finish that exudes a powerful elegance.
