The V.2022 Esprit de Tablas is the flagship red blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 4% Vaccarèse, 3% Cinsaut and 3% Counoise selected from the top 6-estate-grown varieties propagated from budwood cuttings from the Château de Beaucastel Estate in Rhône, France.
An absolute crowd-pleaser in all aspects; the nose welcomes aromatic dark red fruits, black forrest, earthy and spices. As for the palate, it is rich and bold, yet fruit-forward slightly juicy with a hint of licorice, minty and lushy. Great acidity and structure with progressive tannins towards the back-end. Loved the texture and some sweet spices by the very end. — 6 months ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, spice and notes of forest floor, aged for 18 months in neutral oak. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry and ripe strawberry with notes of citrus, herb tea and tobacco. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral character. — 7 months ago
I tasted the 2024 Vermentino with my flight at Tablas Creek and bought a bottle to take home. Lovely fruity wine, very drinkable. I generally don’t like whites with strong minerality but found this one to be very palatable! — 8 months ago

This is a rosé blend of 68% Granache, 28% Mourvèdre, 3% Vermentino, and 1% Counoise, that delivers a full tradition of Provence with a fruit sourced from the 9 top Tablas Creek Rhône-styled vineyards in Paso Robles AVA. It provides a bright strawberry fruit, a hint of rose petals and lemongrass notes on the nose.
As for the palate, it gets stimulated with an amazing fresh acidity all combined with some soft spices, mandarin peel, fresh apricot, and unripe berries. The mouthfeel has a subtle peachy tones on the mid-range and grapefruit with some light salinity by the back-end. Joyful wine to welcome summer! — 6 months ago
Reddish in color with medium intensity.
Red fruits on the nose with light wood and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, licorice, tobacco leaf, earth, coffee and peppercorn.
Spicy on the long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a really young Rhone style red blend from Paso Robles. Fruit forward with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and tangy.
Good right out of the bottle and better with after 90 minutes of airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Well balanced and easy drinking. Good by itself or with food.
A blend of 40% Mourvedre, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 4% Vaccarese, 3% Counoise and 3% Cinsault.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Thanks to @Eli Barton dot this recommendation. Enjoyed it thoroughly. — 3 years ago
This was some great Grenache! In fact, this, to me, is just how a single-varietal bottling of this grape should taste. In spite of the moderate bottle age, there was a lot of freshness in it, and some great red fruit flavors as well. Very well done! 100% Grenache. 5/12/25. — 6 months ago
Always enjoy this. Dark fruits on the nose. Leathery. Great blend. — 7 months ago
This was the first vintages of this exceptional blend and it is showing very well indeed. Syrah, Terret Noir, Grenache and a tiny bit of Roussanne (co-fermented with the Syrah) makes for a vibrant package of ripe black fruit - blackberry, black cherry, cedar, forest floor, and in the background some lifted strawberry and red currant from the Grenache. Lovely medium bodied wine with meat and game nuances on the gorgeous long finish. First rate. — 7 months ago
Grenache/Mourvedre/Counoise/Vermentino blend from 10 different Paso Robles vineyards. — a year ago
This is a stunning white showing surprisingly rich evolution: lemon and candied lemon, acacia, honeysuckle, wet stone, sage, green apple, dried apple, white peach, lime, lime zest, fennel and anise. It’s held up very well for six years, with vibrant acidity and rich, creamy texture. Very long finish — 2 years ago
