A great representation of an extremely approachable Syrah from Santa Barbara county. Medium-to-full-bodied, rounded and elegant, all red fruits on the nose concours to the palate from beginning to the very end. Medium tannins, some spices and wet woods are easily noticed. It’s a cork and pour, ready to go Syrah. Delicious! — 4 months ago
Surprise. Wilson Mabel paella dinner and didn’t realize this was CA Alberino! Nose of white flowers laced with minerals lemons. Firm acidic palate with biting finish. 580 cases total! Brand and Family produced it. — 8 months ago
Light gold, citrus notes are strong and the finish is pleasant — 3 months ago
This is a layered narrative of dark fruits, a dash of black pepper, and that unmistakable hint of smoky earth. And undeniably funky. It’s not just about boldness; it’s about a refined grit, a raw elegance that speaks of rugged vineyards and uncompromising craftsmanship. — 4 months ago

Visited this winery and found this nice value 5 grape blend. Mostly grenache, syrah, mourvedre, and tad of cinsault and counoise. The wine offers a slight acidity with ample red berry and moderate tannins. After a much needed 30 min decant the wine will open up and expose the finish. Very drinkable. Makes for a great food pairing wine. — 7 months ago

Ruby color, purple edges, with pronounced aromas of red fruits, floral, herbs and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of raspberry, ripe plum and black cherry with orange citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with fruit, vanilla, floral, spice and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age!
