Delicious delicious. Dark and rich. Well blended. Even at this age it will go several more years. The flavor is just amazing. The roundness is there. Yum. — 6 years ago
Rich, supple and leathery. Super low in tannins and excellent with spicy food. I love this wine. What a great value for the quality of this wine! — 7 years ago
As good as it gets for my taste. Big dark full bodied red with rich flavor and smooth finish. — 8 years ago
Birthday gift bottle. Siphoned a glass using the coravin on 6/23/15. Big flavor first taste. Dry. Bold. Good. — 9 years ago
This is astonishing. Beautiful and powerful with a smoky, oaky, black-fruity, spicy nose that won't quit. Palate is rich with loads of fruit, sweet vanilla oak, and a port-like quality. This wine has monastrell's blueberry, black fruit, iron tincture, and beef blood signature. Skip the steak and pair this with savory for foods for a fantastic contrast. Finish is long and playfully tasty. — 9 years ago
Bold but easy to drink and pair with food — 5 years ago

Kaelyn loves. Great wine. Bold smooth. Lots of oak flavor. Pricey — 8 years ago
Greener, sharper, stemmy, peppery, hot, solventy, hints of fruit, great balance on the palate. Still rich an opulent, but with hints of bret — 9 years ago
Rich berry fruit with layers of Christmas spices and tobacco. Pretty damn close to perfection! — 11 years ago
Wow, just wow, this is simply one of the best wines I have tasted. Toasty nose, big and rich without being heavy, perfect with everything on the table, awesome experience! — 5 years ago

A big bold plumy purple bomb As dense and luscious as a wine can get in a glass. Decanted for 2 hrs and its still a baby with blackberry, dark chocolate licorice and pepper on the nose and on the palate. A long long finish and loads of tannins to sum it all up — 5 years ago
