Nose has freshly mowed field, spring rain, light salinity, grapefruit peel and white florals.
Palate has refreshing tart (medium) lemon/grapefruit blend, wet grassy notes and great Kimmeridgian core.
Great QPR, Quincy is a wonderful alternative to Sancerre, and well worth a market search. A lightly imported AOC, but also be on the lookout for Menetou-Salon and Reuilly, which neighbor Quincy to the East and West, respectively. — 5 years ago
Quite refreshing. Drinking this with fried potatoes and jalapeño. Also bread and goat cheese. This drinks even better as it opens up and warms up just a bit. — 6 years ago

More like CF than PN, but absolutely delicious. — 7 years ago
It's rather mineral on the nose : limestone, crushed oyster shells and there is a hint of lemon and some whiter flower. The palate is very well balanced. There is a strong acid backbone, some sitckyness/thickness on the sides. Some nice lemony notes carry on throughout the whole palate end during a fresh and almost flowery finish. Fresh, fun, not fancy but very fine. — 4 years ago

Pretty golden color with a yellow tint.
Great nose of grapefruits, spices, carmel and white pepper.
Light-bodied and engaging.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, spices, honey, butterscotch and caramel.
Long and tangy finish, without any bitterness. So delicious.
Complex and interesting, with a touch of a young Sauvignon Blanc taste.
Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and needs to be very chilled.
This 23 year old Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire is crisp and refreshing, but not as crisp as a young Sauvignon Blanc from this region.
I always enjoy tasting a small piece of history.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points. — 5 years ago
Sauve Blanc from Quincy in Loire Valley. Deep gold color hinting oak aging, fun mango and peach nose, 13% alcohol so beware. What a lighter body fun wine... such nice fruit throughout to balance the strong alcohol!!
Wine Bible by Karen McNeil, “Quincy and Reuilly are two tiny appellations near the river Cher, a tributary of the Loire. Again, the sauvignons can be quite crisp and delicious”.

From the rosé #mysterysack. Even the bottle says it’s rosé but the colour and fact that it’s Pinot Gris...hmmm lol. Peaches on the nose and pallet 🤷🏻♀️ — 4 years ago
