Ramey’s interpretation of #claret is quite interesting. After 9 years of bottle time it’s aged more than expected. Stewed plum, quite faint dark fruit on the nose. Ten year old Ramey single vineyard Chard. Pretty crisp beginning with pear and red apple yet it has a smokey nuance in the mid pallet and a buttery vanilla finish. Very interesting and enjoyed it very much. — 6 months ago
