Dec. 25, 2023. Probably past prime. But 'tis the season, so used it for NYTimes recipe Port Toddies. Merry and bright halfway through my second. Looking forward to finishing bottle on New Years Day. — 4 months ago
"this Top class Porto captures the full rich flavors which are the essence of this Founder's Reserve Ruby Porto. Served on its own in a large glass with cheeses or rich chocolate desserts, or as an aperitif chilled or on ice, both provide superb tasting options" — 6 months ago

I’m not a pro on Port so I really don’t know how to rate this. My mom was from England and when I tasted a Port with her many years ago I didn’t like it. However, now that I have a little experience with wine, tonight my brother brought this wine over and I feel like it’s sweet on the palate but the ABV is so high that I just can’t enjoy it. 🤷♀️ definitely a sipping wine and would consider this more of a dessert wine. — 2 years ago
Very well balanced, not too sweet, not too alcoholic, and really lets the red wine and tannins shine through. — 5 years ago
A 750ML bottle of Ruby Port for $28?!? This is my new favorite “best buy” Port and I will continue drinking it! Sooo tasty — 6 years ago

Opened in FLA with family on Thanksgiving 2023. Decent after almost 30 years. Tastes young. Probably better in another 10 years. — 5 months ago
Birth year treat from Bob T. — 6 months ago
I'm not usually a huge fan of Port, but give me this after a nice meal. Significantly different than the 10 year. Caramel. Smokey. Honey Nut Cheerios. — 10 months ago
2005 vintage: on the palette, blackberry and grape jam with subtle notes of Marcona almonds. On the nose, the same notes but with some toffee. — 4 years ago
Quite lovely on our first night in Portugal for the wife’s birthday! Scored 2 points higher due to the sleeping gentleman in the picture :) #firstfamilyvacation — 6 years ago
Still young, I'll keep my other '85 Taylor's cellared for at least 5 more years... — 8 years ago
A lovely Colheita tawny port. Perfect for sipping or with cheese, salty snacks, or chocolate puddings/cakes. There are lots of fuit aromas with a nice dried fruit flavour. — 4 months ago
1962 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and over the course of two hours. As with all of these older vintage port corks, a Durand is a helpful "suggestion" but a funnel with a fine filtering screen is essential. Wowzers. Plenty grippy on the back end and drinking as if awakened from a nap-guilty as charged. Needs another 15 years to “let it go.” Remarkable complexity. Holy bleep. Thanksgiving 11.23.23. — 5 months ago

Very nice sweet port. — 8 years ago
Herbal like nose at beginning, spicy nose, very peppery character, at first taste it has like a metallic note but that fades away with time, round but heavy style pulls some berries and light cherry notes - an ok aged vintage port #portwineday #winelover — 9 years ago
