On the nose a stable, dark fruit, wet leaves, licorice. A big wine in other words, this Super Tuscan blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Alicante, 10% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc. On the palate there is softness, round, dark fruit, some tobacco. A lively wine with a bite. Great surprise. — 5 years ago

continuing in the vein of unusual Italian wines, we thoroughly enjoyed this 10 yr old Teroldego from Tuscany of all places: pouring a deep rich ruby, partially opaque with copious quantities of red fruit on the nose, some dark berried fruit as well, licorice, dirt & soil, peppery goodness some dried herbs and so on. complex and engaging, med bodied on palate, more fruit & spice, fleshy mild tannins and smooth finish - other than color, not showing its age. — 8 months ago

Light ruby Sangiovese that is vibrant, fresh and has plenty of aromatic complexity with a nice acidity In the mouth, the wine has sweetness contrasted with salinity which pairs excellently well with all manner of foods. 14,5% Abv but it’s well integrated. — 9 months ago
