my highest score wine in delectable. — 6 years ago
Another 4th Friday for the books! Insane pulls this month to follow up the most epic month (April) that we’ve ever had!
Butterscotch, sopapilla seasoning, toasted pita on the nose. Palate reminded me a bit of a Ritchie chard! Nuttiness to it. Honeyed but not tart or sugar driven. Simply delicious. — 7 years ago
I’m not normally a fan of Pinot noir but we got this as a gift and it was sooo good. The bottle is a PITA to open though... — 8 years ago
Nice transition between sweet and dry. Pairs well with fig spread, and pita crackers — 9 years ago
Delicious. Paired with a tomato mozzarella pita Sandwich and it's heaven ! — 10 years ago
Some #xinomavro potential here from #naoussa as this holds up pretty well after 15 years. Exquisite nose of tomato paste, cherries and layers of violet conducting leather and earthy aromas. Medium-bodied, high acidity and a pleasant 10 seconds aftertaste. Had it along with some kalamata olives and some other greek pita delicacies. — 10 years ago
Mild and balanced; mostly dry; enjoyably woody with a slightly alcoholic licorice finish. Paired well with hummus and pita chips. — 11 years ago
Complex, tangy, and a bit of a PITA to get a hold of. But worth it! Enjoyed it with some grilled halibut, scallops, and beet carpaccio. — 11 years ago
Georgian natural wine. High acid, full of vibrance. On the nose- fresh grass, wildflower, orange peels, fennel seed, blueberry, heirloom tomato. On the palate, underripe blueberry, cumin/coriander, orange blossom. Delicious with hummus and pita, olives, eggplant. — 5 years ago
Very typical Anderson Valley pinot. Not your lush, opulent fruit that is over the top and unidimensional although the nose may go this direction at first. Front is raspberry with a touch of sweet and black tea. Middle has an oregano influence and some cola. Finish is dusty rose and raspberry rich. Not a fruit bomb pinot. Went well with hummus and pita chips but the herbal side of this would go well with a lot of game and Mediterranean fare. Will hold another 7 to 10, so hold or drink! — 7 years ago
Like this. Just as sipping wine with feta cheese and pita bread. Not over-powering. Kind of subtle and inviting one more sip. — 7 years ago

Wonderful red. Enjoyed it with humus and pita chips — 9 years ago
Mocha coffee, Ovaltine, malted milk balls. Toasty barley, those are the bulk of the opening pungencies. Chocolate soda, hazelnuts, dark toasted pita, rye, pretzel crust, graham cracker and crispy grill bits. Tastes great, smooth, without being overly creamy! Nice, deft touch. — 10 years ago

Wotn for me. Clarity, length, persistence. Hugely young. Those Pita snacks are killer too. — 11 years ago
One of my absolute favourite wines, I highly recommend it. Goes well with cheese or hummus and pita bread — 11 years ago
Brought to me by lovely Samantha Jayne. We had this wine with lamb chops, rice with red sauce and pita bread — 13 years ago
Perfect pairing with Chicken Souvlaki Pita. Wish I had more of this..... — 6 years ago
In a really, really nice place. Tons of depth and berry fruit with perfect minerality. The age is bringing a really pleasant touch of plastic to the nose. This wine needs food. It was very successful with some baba ganoush and pita tonight. The Mourvèdre picked up on the smoky eggplant and really ran with it. — 7 years ago
Citrus (lime and lemon zest), grapefruit, honeycomb, and strong floral notes. Paired with grilled octopus, tzatziki and pita, and gyro platter. Wine was excellent and refreshing with a nice minerality and medium acidity. A great evening spent exploring Greek cuisine with our favorite couple. — 7 years ago
A modest blackberry base with wispy but sustained tannins. Some earthy spices too. Really, this is the first wine I've had from Turkey, and if this is representative of the quality, I'd seek it out. This wine would pair well with a great many simple, earthy foods. I feel I could drink this for quite a while with an order of hummus and pita. — 9 years ago
Lieu Dit Chnin Blanc 13' A bone dry Chenin Blanc, from the Central Coast, with 12.5% alc. Enjoying it with some smoked salmon, cured meats, hummus and pita bread. Food wine all the way. Toned down citrus flavors of Lemon core, nectarines, green apple skins. Minerals that grab the back of your palate. — 10 years ago
A nice dry SB. I am having a hard time picking out individual notes, but I am quite enjoying this while sitting outside on a beautiful spring day. I think this would pair nicely with a chicken Caesar salad or the chicken shawarma from Pita Jungle. Very good stuff! — 10 years ago
Perfect with hummus and tzastiki, pita bread at the beach — 10 years ago
Yummmmm cafe pita! — 11 years ago
