Lieu Dit Chnin Blanc 13' A bone dry Chenin Blanc, from the Central Coast, with 12.5% alc. Enjoying it with some smoked salmon, cured meats, hummus and pita bread. Food wine all the way. Toned down citrus flavors of Lemon core, nectarines, green apple skins. Minerals that grab the back of your palate.

Shockingly good for the price point. Eric Railsback, formerly Somm at RN74 in San Fran is doing something amazing in the Santa Ynez Valley. Bravo.

Mineral down to the core. Salinity, very high acid. Needs a high acid dish to pair with.

Such a solid Chenin from Santa Ynez. I had it with an Asian Soba and Steak Salad tonight and it held up perfectly. Not as much acidity as I was expecting, but the silky mid-palate was a nice surprise.
